I also think I broke a bone in my foot today. One more inspection out in western Colorado, one more white-knuckle mountain pass between me and home. Thankfully tomorrow should be dry.

I was on a loose, rocky undeveloped slope and was just careless. Feels like 4th metatarsal if I squeeze it but it’s not too bad. And thanks! Winter is so un predictable out here but I’m happy for an early afternoon, sunny drive!

I’ve rolled my ankle and broken the bone next to it a couple times. I’m just guessing by where it hurts and what helps protect it. (It’s less painful to walk on when it’s one of the middle bones). If I’m right it’ll probably bruise there by tonight or tomorrow!
